Lenny Bruce was an American comedian, social critic, satirist, and screenwriter.
Lenny was the son of Sally Marr (born Sadie Kitchenberg), a comedian and actress, and Myron “Mickey” Schneider. His father was an English Jew, from London. His mother was born in New York, to Polish Jewish parents.
Lenny’s maternal grandfather was Chill/Cheil Kitchenberg (the son of Julius Kitchenberg and Rose Cohen).
Lenny’s maternal grandmother was named Annie.
